Announced as “The Coolest Event of the Year”, on September 1-2, 2012 will take place STGCC, aka Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention, at Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Cosplay GEN magazine is delighted to be a media partner of this convention!
Among the highlights of the event we can count an art contest, a DJ Battle, exhibitors and artists’ alley, and, of course, cosplay! You can sign up now for the Cosplay Runaway event at STGCC, and the finalists will get 1 x 1 day pass for Sunday!
Among the special guests at the event there are two Japanese cosplayers, Kousaka Yun – best known for portraying sweet and innocent characters, such as Kobato Hasegawa (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai), Kagura (Gintama), Madoka Kaname (Madoka Magica), among others; and Touya Hibiki – famous for her male characters cosplays: Kaito from Vocaloid, Kamui and Okita from Gintama, Shiraishi Kuranosuke from Prince of Tennis, to list just a few.
