Katsucon is an annual 3-day convention which traditionally takes places over the President’s Day weekend in America. This year, it’s 17th edition took place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Their activities include: hall cosplay, masquerade, masquerade ball, a maid cafe, karaoke etc. [..]
Wonder Festival is a bi-annual event that takes place in Tokyo at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Center. The Winter edition took place on February 6 and while the event is centered mainly around figures and garage kits, plenty of cosplayers can be found at the event as well. [..]

While the cosplay subculture doesn’t have nearly enough videos as others to express how amazing it truly is, regardless if to some people it is just a hobby or a way of life, there are still some videos out there that caught our attention.
Cosplay Gen: What is your favorite cosplay up till now and why?
Yolkler: I don’t have a favorite cosplay, because I always think I can make another one that’s better. But, up till now, maybe Mononoke (Kusuriuri), because Japanese people told me that my Kusuriuri cosplay is the same as the Kusuriuri character. [..]
