Until now, Cosplay Gen has been gathering quite a lot of amazing friends, and we must admit that we are glad for having known them. One such friend is Z3LL, a cosplay photographer from The Philippines, who has already an experience of several years in this hobby, meeting a lot of enthusiastic cosplayers; the result of such encounters is not only beautiful photos, but also very nice memories and friendships. The Cosplay Gen team, in collaboration with cosplayers, photographers, and the illustrator of the magazine, Cristian Dirstar aka Akira, have made a series of 12 promotional cards containing information about cosplayers and Cosplay Gen. These cards will be distributed together with the magazine and also at the partner conventions from around the world.

She is currently one of the most talented cosplay photographers in the USA, and one sought by many cosplayers for her beautiful photos, which always prove her understanding of characters and her talent for amazing compositions. That’s right, we are talking about Judith Stephens, whose photos were also featured in Cosplay Gen. [..]

On May 27-30, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center took place the 2011 edition of FanimeCon, the largest anime convention in Northern California, in which over 16 000 fans could take part in a wide range of activities (varying from different panels, and artists’ alley, to games, music, and parties). Of course, cosplay could not miss from such an event, so the visitors could enjoy the Cosplay Spectacular Masquerade, or Akihabara-style FaniMaid Cafe, which this year celebrated its fifth birthday!
