Otaku Festival 20111

In the weekend of May 21/22, in Bucharest took place another edition of Otaku Festival, where Romanian fans all over the country gathered in the capital to celebrate their passion for Japanese culture. Of course, among workshops, video projections, J-music corner, games and various booths, cosplay could not miss.

This year’s contest, which was organized in each of the two days of the festival (day 1 for the individual contest, and day 2 for the group contest), had its highlights. Below you can see the winners of the individual section, along with other few photos of Otaku Festival cosplayers. The second day, the group section had two first place winners: Zettai Asayra, and Visual Madness, with some original and quite beautifully performed skits:
